2013 Ford World Men's Curling Championships

April 5, 2013, Victoria, BC - Team Scotland Skip David Murdoch jumps and waves franticly to his sweepers as they take on Team Sweden in the 1-2 Page Playoff at the 2013 Ford Men's World Curling Championships at Save-on-Foods Memorial Arena in Victoria, BC, Canada. Team Sweden would advance to the Gold Medal game with a 6-5 win.

WHY I CHOSE THIS PHOTO: Another example of the crazy emotions that come from players during the seemingly quiet sport of curling. Murdoch jumped about a foot off the ice surface and was screaming like a madman so there was a bit of a comic element here too.
