WHY I CHOSE THIS PHOTO: A bit of a personal selection here as this was my first visit ever to New York City and the hallowed institution that is Yankee Stadium (even though it is the "new" stadium). I was looking for a way to capture the iconic look and architecture of the stadium's exterior and Gate 6, as one of the main entry gates in to the stadium, is iconic as it gets. I did not want any people in the shot, so I took out the wide angle lens, pointed my lens skyward and was happy with the result. I hope you are too.
