June 10, 2014 Victoria, BC - Harvey the HarbourCat carries a young fan around the bases during the mascot race at the Victoria HarbourCats game against the Cowlitz Black Bears at Sports Traders Diamond at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria. The HarbourCats would give the crowd their money's worth, eking out a 6-5 win in 11 innings.

WHY I CHOSE THIS PHOTO: Mascots and kids. Two things that make for great photos. The look of complete joy and hilarity on this young boy's face as Harvey carries him around the bases, was reason enough for this one to make my list.
