WHY I CHOSE THIS PHOTO: Safeco Field in Seattle is a great park to shoot MLB in and offers great shooting positions including this one directly behind home plate. I used this to work on this particular composition where I wanted the pitcher, as well as a portion of the batter in the frame. I think this works very well here and is helped by the freezing of an RA Dickey knuckleball, as well as the great expression on his face.
