January 9, 2016, Victoria, BC - Motocross rider Jeff Banks thrills the crowd with one of his freestyle motocross tricks at the Monster Tour at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria on Saturday.

WHY I CHOSE THIS PHOTO: Shooting Monster trucks was a first for me, as was motocross, and while our position in the arena was not the greatest for any cool shots of the trucks, it was great for the freestyle motocross. This trick, his pose and his eyes visible through his goggles, plus the nice soft background with the hint of the crowd present really made this shot pop for me.
