2011 Victoria Eagles Baseball Club

May 21, 2011, Victoria, BC - Fraser Valley Chief's center fielder Jordan McCoomb lays out in an attempt to catch a sinking line drive during BC Premier League double-header action against the Victoria Eagles Saturday at Lambrick Park in Victoria. The Chiefs would snag a 9-3 win in Game 1 with the Eagles rebounding for a 12-2 win in Game 2.

Why I Chose This Photo - Similar to the previous football shot, this is another of those "frozen moments" that leave the viewer wondering. I like that everything in this shot is suspended in mid-air and the expression of effort on the player's face. Did he catch it? What's your guess?
