July 12, 2015 Victoria, BC - A young baseball player practices his sliding technique at the Toronto Blue Jays Honda Youth Baseball Camp, at Royal Athltic Park in Victoria.

WHY I CHOSE THIS PHOTO: It's a good feeling when you conceptualize a shot in your mind, work to get it, and the results are what you hoped for and more. For this shot of players practicing their sliding, I thought it would be cool to get as low as possible just beyond the base (I am lying on my stomach) and shoot up at them as they slid. While most players slid feet first, this youngster slid face first and I had the great shot I was looking for!
