WHY I CHOSE THIS PHOTO: I always like to include "firsts" in my yearly collection and this was another first for me, shooting the sport of cricket. In this shot, the lighting helps to highlight the intense concentration the batter has on the ball, the key aspect of the photo that really jumped out at me.
