March 27, 2012, Victoria, BC - Victoria Royal's center Logan Nelson gets ready to take a face-off against the Kamloops Blazers in the first ever Western Hockey League (WHL) home playoff game for the Royals franchise. The crowd of 5,255 at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Arena would witness a crazy game that saw eight goals scored in the second period, six by Kamloops, who would emerge with the 7-5 win.

Why I Chose This Photo: Another shot that is all about facial expression. Not sure why Nelson was showing a gap-tooth grin here, but with a small resemblance to an evil clown, or perhaps the Joker from the old Batman series, I thought it made for a great image.
