Why I Chose This Photo: I know it is not one of the best surfing photos out there and it could have been better if the surfer was coming at me, but without being out on the water on a jet-ski, you sometimes take what you can get. In this particular shot, I like the light (late afternoon), the position of the surfer, the way the board is splashing through the water and the droplets of water arcing off his fingertips.
