WHY I CHOSE THIS PHOTO: Another first for me and a "sport" slightly out of the ordinary. As a Scot, I have been to a Highland Games or two, but this was my first time covering one and of course the caber toss is on aspect of the games that is as iconic as they come. In this shot I like the close crop to see the effort on the athlete's face just prior to trying to launch the caber into the air.
