May 8, 2015, Victoria, BC - Claremont Spartan's Payton Cochrane (right) gives a pretty good stiff arm to Oak Bay's Kelsey White during a semi-final match-up in the championships of the Lower Vancouver Island Senior Girls Rugby Championships at Westhills Stadium in Victoria.

WHY I CHOSE THIS PHOTO: Another first for me this season was shooting rugby, so that is one reason for this photo, but like my football stiff-arm previously, I love the stiff-arm provided here and the emotion and reaction that both players show on their faces. Pretty much sums up the physicality of rugby whether it is played by women or men.
